As a client with Mainspring Counselling Services you will notice that we utilize a holistic approach to mental wellness.
Alyia Chan- Sayied will work closely with you to increase your self-awareness, bolster your self-esteem and achieve self-motivation. We understand life may be challenging at times, and we hope to actively be with you during these times.
We use an eclectic mix of psycho-therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioural therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness based techniques,solution focused, and motivational interviewing.
Our goal is to work with you to help you understand, navigate, make changes or at times, accept where you are.
Our work together will support you in recognizing and trusting your inner voice and leveraging your experiences (both good and bad) in creating mental and emotional wellness. You will feel welcomed, understood and appreciated.
During our work you will notice an emphasis on the importance of incorporating knowledge of your "inner roots", which is an important component in creating sustainable plans to maintain mental wellness and grow healthy relationships.
Our counsellors will guide and support you through your journey. We offer practical tools and effective coping strategies. We act as a guide in your journey to wellness. The end result is an internalized sense of peace and contentment.
